Job Summary

Pyramid Healthcare Inc. is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established policies and procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure food safety standards and guidelines are followed during all phases of food handling.
  • Adhere to portion control by using standardized recipes and proper utensils for measurement.
  • Complete all required documentation, including food and equipment temperature logs.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment, and return to proper storage areas as requested.
  • Perform daily and/or scheduled cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Operate and clean equipment per department procedures; report needed maintenance and faulty equipment to supervisor immediately.
Requirements
  • Previous food preparation experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and the ability to operate kitchen equipment is preferred.
  • SERV-Safe certification or be willing to obtain upon hire.
