Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at CHI St Vincent Hot Springs. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients.

Your primary responsibility will be to perform radiologic procedures, including angiographic and interventional procedures, to produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. You will also be responsible for obtaining pertinent medical history from patients, performing patient assessments, and recognizing changes in patients during the course of the exam.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of diagnostic imaging principles, including knowledge of the general imaging workflow, patient positioning techniques, and capturing precise results for timely and accurate diagnosis.

As a Medical Imaging Professional, you will work closely with our healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and ensure that our patients receive the highest level of service.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain pertinent medical history from patients by observation or oral communication
  • Perform patient assessments and recognize changes in patients during the course of the exam
  • Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics
  • Document pertinent medical history from patients on radiology request forms
  • Use immobilizing devices as required by the patient's age, condition, or procedure
  • Perform radiologic procedures on patients of all ages properly, according to the Radiology Procedure Manual standard
  • Perform Diagnostic Angiographic/Therapeutic Interventional procedures on patients of all ages properly, according to the Angiographic/Interventional procedure manual standard

Qualifications:

  • Registry eligible or Registered Radiographic Technologist certified in Radiography
  • Must be ARRT certified within one (1) year of hire date
  • Preferred registry eligible or registered in Cardiovascular Interventional Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Licensure for the State of Arkansas
  • Education: Graduate of a program of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
