About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Donation Attendant in our Lakewood store. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in processing and sorting donations from our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accept and process donations from donors, issuing receipts as necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting donors and ensuring a positive experience
- Exercise good judgment in determining acceptable donations, communicating decisions to donors effectively and politely
- Maintain a clean and organized donation area, both inside and outside
- Assist with unloading and loading trucks and trailers
- Maintain accurate records and deliver to supervisors or drivers as scheduled
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds
- Flexibility and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
