We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team at Methodist Hospital Northeast. As a Radiology Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, using knowledge of anatomy and radiologic principles.
- Administer contrast media and other medications as required, following established protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and imaging results.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and patient care.
- Certificate of Training in Radiologic Technology Program
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Medical Board
- Preferred: Previous experience in a hospital setting, including PACS system and digital radiology
