Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety. Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Monitor patients during exams, responding to any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, exam results, and any relevant notes or comments.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Registration or certification in MRI technology.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferably in MRI or diagnostic imaging.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
