Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Malvern Treatment Centers. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and ensuring excellent customer service.

• Prepare and cook meals, snacks, and special function food in accordance with dietary standards and patient needs.
• Clean and maintain the kitchen, equipment, and storage areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
• Oversee proper sanitation procedures and ensure compliance with Department of Health and CARF standards.
• Monitor and maintain proper operation of all food service equipment and report any concerns to the manager.
• Coordinate meal preparation, presentation, and service to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with the management team to plan and implement new menu items and ideas.
• Attend in-services and training sessions to stay up-to-date on food safety and handling procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ServSafe Certificate preferred.
• 2 years of experience in food service required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods.
