Your Role:

As a Mechanical Project Specialist, you will become an integral part of our Advanced Manufacturing team, engaging in diverse and stimulating projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting engineering design, modeling, and drafting for various phases of engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning projects.
  • Creating process and instrumentation diagrams, general arrangements, assembly, and detailed fabrication drawings.
  • Developing component specifications and providing procurement support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborating with multiple departments, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, and technical disciplines.
  • Offering consulting services to clients and direct engineering support for manufacturing processes.
  • Implementing lean principles to enhance continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managing multiple tasks and prioritizing based on project management directives.
  • Maintaining project documentation in accordance with established standards, including engineering design deliverables and operational manuals.
  • Traveling to vendor and client locations to provide onsite engineering support, with an estimated travel requirement of 20% to 25%.

About You:

We are committed to your personal and professional growth. To excel in this role, we seek candidates with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical, electro-mechanical, industrial, or chemical engineering disciplines. Relevant experience may compensate for educational qualifications.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in system design and operation, covering mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Experience in design for manufacturing and drafting with a focus on GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Proficiency in engineering software, including parametric modeling tools (preferably Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks) and data management systems (such as Autodesk Vault and Solidworks PDM).
  • Experience with CFD simulation.
