About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Steward Manager, SVP to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. As a key member of our Data Governance team, you will be responsible for managing a team of data management professionals and ensuring adherence to our Citi Data Management Policy (CDMP) and data standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of metadata activities and data lineage activities, including project planning, prioritizing requirements, and resolving issues.
  • Capture metadata for Critical Data Elements (CDE) and ensure it is stored in accordance with our Metadata Management Process.
  • Map CDE to appropriate processes, Data Domains, Data Concepts, and Data Sources, and maintain accurate business process maps in line with our taxonomy.
  • Collaborate with the Data Governance Office, CDO, Consumer Business Operations, and Risk Controls (CBORC) to identify, recommend, and/or implement processes and technologies that enhance or support metadata management and data lineage.
  • Communicate data decisions and ensure business users understand the impacts of such decisions on their lines of business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 10+ years of combined experience in banking and financial services industry and data governance.
  • Experience with data management processes and tools, including process mapping and lineage toolsets (e.g., Collibra).
  • Working knowledge of structured/unstructured databases, data modeling, SQL, and Agile methodology.
