Cardiothoracic Surgeon

We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team at Salient Health Services, Inc. in Southwest Georgia.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a board-certified/board-eligible Thoracic Surgeon to start a new position in 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience with large roles in surgical oncology, including CABG, TAVR, Chest Tumor Surgery, Coronary Artery Disease, Heart Valve Repair, and Lung Resection.
Responsibilities- Perform complex cardiothoracic surgeries, including CABG, TAVR, and lung resections
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular and thoracic conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Board certification/board eligibility in Thoracic Surgery
- Experience with surgical oncology and cardiothoracic procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $650,000, sign-on bonus of $50,000, and relocation assistance up to $15,000. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including CME allowance, PTO, and holidays.
