Position: Facilities Maintenance Leader

Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Leader is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efforts of maintenance technicians and team leads. This role involves managing resources, equipment, and the overall maintenance operations. The leader ensures that all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks for facility and operational assets are effectively executed. The ideal candidate will support management in guiding, training, and developing staff as necessary.
Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as the position may require night shifts, overtime, and weekend work to accommodate a continuous manufacturing environment.
It is expected that the candidate maintains a personal set of tools required for the job.
Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic systems (such as air cylinders and electro-pneumatic solenoids), basic hydraulic systems (including cylinders, motors, and solenoids), and various types of pumps (centrifugal and positive displacement).
Additionally, the leader must be adept at managing process fluid transmission (including manual, electrical, and pneumatic valves, as well as basic piping configurations) and ensuring the calibration and repair of process monitoring equipment (temperature, pressure, level, flow) and associated devices (gauges, meters, transducers, transmitters).
Leadership in a collaborative team setting is crucial, along with possessing foundational electrical skills (motor, sensor, and fuse replacements, understanding of PLCs, and sensor functionalities).

The role is situated within a distribution and manufacturing facility spanning approximately 400,000 square feet, specializing in high-speed bottling operations for energy drinks and nutritional products for children.
