Job Summary:
The Perioperative Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical interventions. This role requires a strong foundation in current clinical knowledge and established nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process to ensure effective care delivery.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, incorporating current clinical knowledge and established nursing practices.
- Ensure a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to departmental scope of practice and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- One year of recent experience in a surgical setting, with a minimum of 5 years of surgical scrub experience.
- Current Louisiana RN License.
- Current BLS Card.
- ACLS Certification required.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position with a 12-week contract. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
