Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Location: Country Club Hills, IL

Position: Part-Time/Full-Time (Various Caseloads Available)

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' communication needs and develop targeted treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and adapting to diverse learning styles.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' goals and ensure seamless communication.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans that align with students' communication needs.
  • Offer support and training to school staff on effective communication strategies and interventions.
Qualifications:

For SLP:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is a plus.

For SLPA:

  • Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Experience working with children preferred.
  • Ability to implement therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
