Position Overview:
The Radiology Intervention Technician plays a crucial role in the assessment and treatment of patients undergoing invasive imaging procedures. This position involves assisting in various interventional and invasive techniques conducted within the Radiology Suite.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients in the Radiology area, ensuring high-quality care and performing precise imaging and examinations while being attentive to patient needs.
- Adhere to safe radiation practices and demonstrate leadership skills, serving as a clinical resource for unit personnel and ensuring compliance with current standards of practice.
- Execute diagnostic procedures accurately and promptly, operating diagnostic equipment and processing images effectively.
- Prepare the imaging environment, including the X-ray room, equipment, supplies, and medications as necessary, delivering comprehensive patient services across different imaging modalities.
- Implement proper radiation safety protocols during all examinations conducted.
- Maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, staff, and colleagues, supporting departmental and organizational objectives.
- Provide training to practitioners and staff on relevant aspects of radiation protection.

Qualifications:
- An Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiology Program is strongly preferred.
- A valid Vascular-Interventional Radiology or Cardiovascular - R.T. (R)(VI)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(CV)(ARRT) license is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technician is preferred.
- Certification from the State of Colorado (DORA) Surgical Tech or Surgical Assist Registry is required upon hire unless performing Surgical Assistant duties under another active Colorado license, certification, or registration.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
- ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association is preferred.
