Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse on our Medical Surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective day-to-day nursing operations and providing administrative support to the nursing manager and the Med Surg unit. Your responsibilities will include coordinating staffing, timecards, training, and education, as well as assisting with staff recruitment and coordination of internships and preceptorships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with coordination of staffing, timecards, training, and education
  • Assist with staff recruitment and coordination of internships and preceptorships
  • Assist the department manager with addressing staff issues and concerns, as well as identifying and assisting to resolve interpersonal conflicts among staff
  • May assist with patient care and provide emergent coverage for staffing shortfalls
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho
  • Current BLS
  • ACLS, PALS, and Basic Dysrhythmia within 6 months of hire
  • Preferred chemotherapy certification within 1 year of hire
  • Preferred 2 years acute care nursing experience and able to demonstrate progressive leadership experience and/or training
