Role Requirements:
We are seeking a licensed nurse, physical therapist, or occupational therapist with a wound care certification to provide services to facilities within a specified region.

The ideal candidate should reside within the West Palm Beach, FL / Vero Beach, FL area and be prepared to travel to various facility locations across multiple cities. Day travel and occasional overnight stays may be necessary, including early morning wound rounds based on facility schedules. Periodic corporate training, at least annually, may require flight travel and hotel accommodations. Travel arrangements will be managed and funded through our travel management system, with reimbursement for incidental expenses.


Health and Safety Commitment:
We prioritize the health and safety of our employees and clients. Employees are required to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and adhere to all CDC and CMS guidelines. Full PPE is provided for employees conducting facility visits, along with telehealth tools for facilities needing remote services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with long-term care facilities in a designated area to assist with wound assessments and treatment planning.
  • Oversee the correct application and use of wound care products.
  • Comprehend Medicare documentation and reimbursement protocols.
  • Educate facility personnel on documentation that complies with federal and state regulations.
  • Order wound care products through our internal system, 'FastCare', ensuring residents receive their necessary supplies.
  • Support facility wound care programs by aiding in tracking, documentation, and understanding product coverage guidelines.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal Wound and Product Specialist should:
  • Hold a valid Wound Care certification (WOCN, WCC, CWS).
  • Possess a valid healthcare license (RN, LPN, PT, OTR-L, DPM, or similar).
  • Have experience in long-term care settings.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate business acumen and a sales-oriented mindset.
  • Be moderately proficient with technology.
  • Be a self-starter capable of working independently.
  • Show a strong work ethic and motivation.
  • Be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Reside in the designated area and be willing to travel daily.
