Position Overview

The CT Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This professional is a graduate of an accredited AMA institution and holds registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer timely diagnostic imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients, following the directives of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
  • Perform a variety of radiographic procedures, including basic imaging, fluoroscopy, portable radiography, C-arm procedures, and operating room imaging services.
  • Exhibit expertise in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, covering areas such as the head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities, along with biopsy and drainage procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of CT system processing, surgical protocols, and the use of contrast media, as well as understanding cross-sectional anatomy.
Qualifications
  • Current ARRT certification.
  • MRT/TMB certification is required.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • Registration in CT is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Must provide a permanent home address.
  • Travelers must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
Work Schedule
  • Shifts: Days from 7 AM to 3 PM and 3 PM to 11 PM rotation.
  • Weekend rotation is a requirement.
