Job Summary

As a Deboning Supervisor at Mountaire Farms, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of department operations. Your primary responsibility will be to align procedures, people, and resources to achieve established goals in regards to quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled and operating with correct staffing numbers on a daily basis.
  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Production Practices (GPPs) for the department.
  • Monitor and maintain product quality and packaging specifications, executing plans to address defects and necessary improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and correct deviations.
  • Meet department metrics, including BMPH, Cost/lb., PPMH, and A Grade %.
  • Follow prescribed Human Resources (HR) and Safety policies and procedures, completing time off requests and safety training on a timely basis.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred (Agriculture, Operations Management, Business).
  • 3+ years' demonstrated supervisory experience in lieu of degree, previous poultry experience preferred.
  • HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) knowledge and experience.
  • USDA regulations on sanitation and pre-operations guidelines.
