We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team at a full-service mechanical and electrical contracting company in the Detroit area.

Job Summary

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems, services, and equipment. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safe condition and operation of all electrical fixtures at customer sites.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Read and interpret electrical code specifications, drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain accurate records of service calls
Requirements
  • Valid State Journeyman Electrician License
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to remain organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and motor vehicle check
