Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Deputy Fire Chief to join our team at AIM World Services. As a key member of our Fire Operations department, you will be responsible for leading our Aircraft Rescue and Structural Fire Fighter (ARFF & Structural) services team. Your primary focus will be on managing and supporting the team administratively, planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of fire protection programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire operations, experience in leading teams, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for managing and accounting for all assigned materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with training and certification requirements, planning for movement of materials, equipment, and personnel in support of operations, conducting daily inspections of personal protective gear, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective fire protection programs to minimize loss of life and property in the event of fire.
- Manage and support the ARFF & Structural services team administratively to ensure seamless delivery of services in Fire Operations.
- Lead ARFF & Structural services to control and extinguish fires using various equipment.
- Plan, organize, and direct all aspects of fire protection programs, including identifying and recommending future planning and execution requirements.
- Manage and account for all assigned materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with training and certification requirements.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, or Assistant Fire Chief.
- Certifications such as Fire Officer IV, Fire Inspector II, Fire Instructor II, Hazardous Material Incident Commander, Airport Firefighter, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Standard issue civilian driver's license.
- Valid US Passport.
- Must have a Secret Security Clearance or be eligible.
