Job Overview

This position requires a skilled Quality Engineer to ensure that products, processes, analysis and documentation meet company and customer quality standards. The successful candidate will conduct product inspections during manufacturing and finished goods to guarantee compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality control measures for specific and non-specific customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing personnel, plant supervisory staff, customer quality personnel and service representatives to ensure effective communication.
  • Provide guidance on product, material and process-related queries to support manufacturing personnel.
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the production cycle to ensure adherence to drawings before shipping.
  • Measure dimensions and tolerances using digital calipers, micrometers and other measurement instruments to verify product quality.
  • Inspect manufacturing parts against blueprint requirements to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze testing results to determine certification or rejection of specific products, making informed decisions based on facts and results.
  • Perform internal audits and product or process inspections as required to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead cross-functional project teams to drive business growth.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Technical Certificate in a related field is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role is required.
  • American Society of Quality (ASQ) certification is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make informed decisions based on facts and results.
  • Able to travel to other locations as needed.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Registered Permanent Resident.
