Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Project Manager to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our Gas Services division, you will play a pivotal role in integrating procurement into the project management process, ensuring optimal resource deployment and adherence to procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all procurement activities in a project, ensuring optimal resource deployment and adherence to procurement strategies.
  • Source, evaluate, and engage with suppliers, including traveling to their facilities to review quality and processes.
  • Implement procurement strategies to optimize project results, ensuring the availability of quality goods and services within budget and on time.
  • Identify and manage procurement risks, opportunities, and potential changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead complex contractual and price negotiations, ensuring major procurement risks and changes are covered in valid contracts.
  • Work closely with project management, commercial teams, and global commodity management to ensure procurement strategies align with project goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with direct experience required.
  • At least 5 years of experience within the energy industry, including 4-6 years in supply chain management.
  • Proven track record as a transformative leader, collaborator, and change agent capable of achieving results through and with others.
  • Resilient and flexible in a dynamic work environment with proven leadership through change and conflict.
  • Strong cross-functional and cross-departmental communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
