POSITION SUMMARY
The Facility Maintenance Specialist is tasked with upholding the cleanliness and professional aesthetic of the entire premises, encompassing both office and production zones. This role involves proactively identifying and addressing safety issues to ensure that the facility is maintained in a secure and hygienic manner. The specialist will also oversee the inventory of supplies to guarantee that daily cleaning responsibilities are fulfilled punctually and in line with site standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Additional duties and projects may be assigned as needed.
- Ensure a pristine working environment for all personnel and guests.
- Sanitize restrooms (both office and production).
- Perform sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing of floors utilizing brooms, mops, and powered cleaning equipment.
- Clean carpets, rugs, and furniture using vacuuming equipment.
- Dispose of waste from trash receptacles throughout the office and production areas.
- Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
- Restock kitchen and restroom supplies.
- Maintain outdoor walkways and areas by clearing debris and placing mats as necessary.
- Keep janitorial storage areas organized and tidy.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is kept in optimal working condition.
- Employ appropriate safety protocols and storage methods during daily cleaning tasks.
- Monitor supply levels and collaborate with the Supply Chain team to reorder when necessary.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- A High School Diploma is mandatory.
- An associate degree, Trade/Technical School certification, or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- This position is open to both entry-level and experienced candidates.
