Overview

24M Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our Pack Development team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing next-generation battery pack and module solutions that will connect our revolutionary products to the high-growth energy storage market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop product requirements and specifications for battery energy storage systems (ESS).
  • Take ownership of ESS products from concept design to validation and deployment, including requirements, architecture, specifications, simulations, design of experiments, design reviews, DFMEA, validation, root-cause analyses, and system integration.
  • Participate in formal and informal technical meetings, following up on assignments to closure, and publishing minutes and actions when leading.
  • Participate in business development meetings, bringing deep knowledge of product specifications, industry standards, and regulatory codes to assess customer requirements.
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 20%, with flexibility for additional time and global time zone availability from time to time.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of engineering design and development experience.
  • 1+ years of project/program/product management experience.
  • Solid grounding in scientific and engineering fundamentals and methods, including signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC).
  • Strong understanding of materials, design, analysis, fabrication, prototyping, manufacturing processes, PFMEA, DFM, simulation, experimentation, and data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of CAE tools such as ANSYS and Simulink.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and troubleshooting acumen.
  • Experience with salient instrumentation and equipment.
  • Ability to create mathematical models and perform parametric studies, simulations.
  • Familiar with control logic documentation standards, flow diagrams, and communication protocols.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective at managing multiple, concurrent projects.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
