Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Direct and motivate a team of production staff to achieve production goals, maintain a safe working environment, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Production Planning and Control: Develop and implement production schedules, manage inventory levels, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve quality control processes to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards, implement safety protocols, and conduct regular safety inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement process changes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, industrial engineering, or a related field) preferred.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in a production or operations role, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to analyze data and implement process improvements, knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of business principles, labor relations, cost accounting, and industrial regulations.
  • Project Management: Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and project management principles.
