Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care programs to address speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct age-appropriate speech/language pathology assessments and procedures, utilizing principles of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in speech language pathology.
  • Current licensure as a speech-language pathologist or equivalent experience and education.
  • At least one year of experience in speech language pathology within the past five years.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training for infants, children, and adults.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced home care environment, with occasional exposure to communicable diseases, blood-borne pathogens, and potentially hazardous materials. The successful candidate will be able to spend varying amounts of time sitting, standing, and walking, with sufficient endurance to perform required physical and mental tasks over long periods.
