Join UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper as a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
About the Role:The Registered Nurse in our ICU will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN licensure in the applicable state.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple patients, and maintain accurate records.
