This is a home-based position that involves regulatory activities to determine compliance of nursing homes with federal and state requirements through inspections. The Nursing Home Surveyor position requires strong clinical background, including assessment, care planning, and delivery of care. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, and be able to compose technical reports using good grammar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply laws, regulations, rules, and protocols established by the state or federal government.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
  • One year of experience in the area of specialization.
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods, finger/talk/hear/smell, and lift luggage (20-50 pounds).
