Job Summary

Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
  • Provide patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment, demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
  • Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and radiologists to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
  • Four (4) years of experience in ultrasound technology required.
  • ARDMS registered in at least 3 specialties (Does not include RVT).
  • BLS certified.
  • Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) is preferred.
