Job Title: School Nurse LPN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate School Nurse LPN to join our team at Interim HealthCare. As a School Nurse LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care to students in a school setting, working under the supervision of a registered nurse and in accordance with the patient's plan of care, applicable law and regulation, accepted standards of nursing practice, payor requirements, and Interim HealthCare policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Educate students on hygiene and safety practices
  • Dispense prescription medications to students per physician instructions
  • Take students' temperatures when fever is suspected
  • Administer first aid and CPR
  • Treat minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes, and bruises
  • Assist with Activities for Daily Living, such as changing, feeding, etc. (1:1 cases)
Requirements:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with active unrestricted license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • One (1) year of experience in pediatric nursing; preferred
  • Current CPR Certification; preferred
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation
  • Must be willing to undergo pre-employment screenings
