Estimated Salary RangeThe estimated salary range for this position is $70-$77 per hour, offering a competitive compensation package. Our benefits include a choice of three medical plans, excellent dental insurance, generous paid time off, and commuter benefits.
Job ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to provide primary care to patients in jail-based clinics. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing comprehensive histories and physicals on new admissions
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses
- Evaluating the need for consult services and submitting prioritized consults when indicated
- Implementing plans for patient care utilizing approved protocols
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree, NY State licensure as a Physician Assistant, and certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Additionally, they will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and maintain current licensure and CME requirements.
