We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Alliance Cancer Specialists. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a collaborative environment with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Initiate and document appropriate interventions, evaluate patient/family response, and prescribe therapies as indicated.
- Perform procedures with minimal supervision and assess patient/family needs to provide education and promote wellness.
- Stay up-to-date with evidence-based research and incorporate it into clinical practice, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
- Manage patient charges and medical records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide case management for patients and their families, serving as a resource for nursing staff and providing information on clinical trials.
- May provide palliative care, mentor new advanced practice providers, and precept APP students.
- Nurse Practitioner with a Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner, preferably in oncology.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and RN state licensure.
- AOCNP certification preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
