- Oversee the Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) and manage the detection, prevention, response, and remediation of security incidents.
- Provide strategic governance and oversight for data protection and compliance initiatives.
- Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, focusing on mentorship and professional growth.
- Offer expertise on mobile device and endpoint security measures.
- Conduct thorough security assessments, including vulnerability evaluations and penetration testing.
- Support strategies aimed at preventing data loss.
- Coordinate efforts related to audit management.
- Promote continuous enhancement in incident response and threat mitigation strategies.
- Improve threat intelligence capabilities and security monitoring practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Over 10 years of experience in the cybersecurity field.
- At least 5 years of experience in information security operations.
- Proven management and leadership experience.
- CISSP certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of security operations principles.
- Experience in security monitoring and vulnerability management is essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in security programs within the healthcare or life sciences sectors is advantageous.
- Expertise in cloud security is a significant plus.
