Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Shelby Medical Center. As an Emergency Room RN, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical patient care and supervision of staff to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis.
- Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and provided.
- Support the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring competency of clinical staff and effective resource management.
Requirements:
- Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
- Academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master's degree).
Certifications:
- Must be currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession as required by law, regulation, or policy.
- CPR certification.
