Job Summary:

Bluechip Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Day Porter to join our facilities team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our buildings. Duties and Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • High dusting of surfaces above shoulder height
  • Sanitizing and spot cleaning of surfaces below shoulder height
  • Bathroom cleaning, including toilet, sink, and mirrors
  • Emptying and cleaning trash cans
  • Floor dusting and vacuuming
  • Grounds care, including cleaning sidewalks, flower beds, and parking lots
  • Public area cleaning, including glass, planters, and benches
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Knowledge of basic operations of janitorial work
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • Sufficient communication skills to interact with co-workers and supervisors
  • Ability to lift and carry 1-30 lbs. equipment, supplies, and trash
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including standing, walking, and climbing stairs
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position working within a fast-paced facilities environment. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the cleanliness and organization of our buildings.
