We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Scheduling Representative to join our team at Florida State University. Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule patient appointments for multiple clinics and providers, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with the Triage department, other UHS departments, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Record Keeping: Accurately maintain patient appointment records and statistical data, preparing reports as directed by supervisors.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of all personal health information, adhering to applicable federal and state statutes and UHS policies.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience related to the duties of this position.
- Skills: Ability to demonstrate effective customer service, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with scheduling appointments or call center, working in a medical office, and working with Electronic Medical Records.
This is an OPS/temporary job, requiring 20-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. The position may require completion of a criminal history background check and pre-employment TB testing.
