Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Goodworks Unlimited. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our food service and dietary programs, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, dining, and food storage areas, adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring hot foods are served hot and cold foods are served cold, and meeting individual dietary needs.
  • Learn and implement resident food preferences and diets, ensuring accurate and timely service.
  • Monitor and manage food inventory, ensuring all food is within date of expiration and properly labeled.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the supervisor, including food preparation, serving, clean-up, and dishwashing.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent; food service training preferred.
  • Food preparation experience preferred; retirement industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with light lifting and irregular hours.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on resident care and satisfaction.
