Work Schedule: Full-Time Days
Shift: Monday to Friday, 40-hour work week, with weekend rotation
Community Overview: AdventHealth Celebration is a 203-bed facility established in 1997, designed as a Mediterranean resort-style hospital serving the community of Celebration, Florida. Our hospital consistently provides a state-of-the-art healing environment for residents and visitors alike, integrating innovative, research-driven clinical solutions that address the mind, body, and spirit in overcoming illness.
Your Role: As a registered dietitian, you will apply the nutrition care process to screen, assess, diagnose, and implement nutrition interventions while monitoring patients' nutritional status and progress. You will adhere to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Standards of Practice and engage in exceptional customer service, fostering respectful relationships.
Your Contributions to the Team:
- Demonstrate AdventHealth's service standards through your actions.
- Conduct nutrition-focused physical assessments, gather data through interviews, and evaluate anthropometric status.
- Identify nutrition risks and problems based on assessment data.
- Provide nutrition recommendations, education, and referrals as necessary.
- Deliver counseling and education that is culturally sensitive and reflects appropriate health literacy for patients requiring nutritional management.
Qualifications for Success:
Minimum Requirements:
- Active registered dietitian status with the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Current active licensed status in the practicing state
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field with 3 years of clinical experience, or a graduate degree in nutrition or a related field with 1 year of clinical experience
