Job Overview

DeLoa & Sons Construction Inc. is hiring a skilled Lead Carpenter to oversee remodeling duties, including carpentry work, exterior repairs, tile installation, light plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC tasks.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in carpentry and/or remodeling, with excellent time management skills, effective communication skills, and strong leadership abilities. Safety certification and the ability to read blueprints are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carpentry Work: Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks, including installing cabinets, doors, and windows.
  • Exterior Repairs: Inspect and repair exterior structures, such as roofs, walls, and siding.
  • Tile Installation: Lay and install ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles for flooring and walls.
  • Light Plumbing: Assist with plumbing tasks, such as fixture installation and minor repairs.
  • Light Electrical: Help with electrical work, including outlet installation and minor repairs.
  • Light HVAC: Assist with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning tasks, such as filter replacement and minor repairs.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven experience in carpentry and/or remodeling.
  • Ability to safely operate power tools and read blueprints.
  • Excellent time management skills and effective communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to run jobs un-supervised.
  • Must own hand tools and have a clean driving record.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. A company vehicle and work shirts are provided.
