Job Description

Power-Flo Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and apply control systems engineering and automatic control theory to automate systems and machines, ensuring easy and efficient use and maximum benefit to the consumer.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre- and post-sales support for Power-Flo Technologies Automation products and services.
  • Assist customers with core industrial products.
  • Support sales and account managers to close business.
  • Generate engineering and training billings.
  • Plan and implement changes and upgrades to machines, including changing parts or adding a part, to make them more efficient in saving time and money.
  • Provide phone and on-site customer support.
  • Develop and execute product training classes, including course development and materials preparation.
  • Maintain appearance and upgrades to product demo rooms and training rooms across the Power-Flo Technologies territory.
  • Complete weekly schedule reports and target minimum $20K annual engineering and training billings.
  • Make a minimum of 2 customer calls per week, whether technical or sales.
  • Monitor and complete assigned tasks.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of configuring, programming, and troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs.
  • AS or equivalent technical degree.
  • Presentation and trainer skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience in industrial automation or robotics.
  • Valid driver's license.
