Karya Property Management (KPM) is seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties' plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in multifamily residential environments.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including drain cleaning and sewage backup troubleshooting and repairs.
- Work with blueprints and job specifications to determine work details and procedures.
- Identify and procure necessary materials and equipment for new and existing projects.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure seamless operation of facilities.
- Perform other business-related duties as required.
- 1+ years of experience in multifamily maintenance or a related field.
- HVAC and EPA certification.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Bilingual skills a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and dependability.
- Ability to travel for work-related purposes.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to work weekends and/or evenings on a rotating schedule.
