Core Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse embodies the mission, vision, and values of Indiana University Health, adhering to our ethical standards and compliance policies. The role involves:
- Provision and coordination of high-quality, evidence-based patient care throughout the care continuum.
- Engagement in assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

- Participation in decision-making, teaching, and mentoring within the clinical setting.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN); a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license is required. Candidates should have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program and hold Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Additional advanced Life Support certifications may be necessary based on departmental needs.
