About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at UHS. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Responsibilities
  • Perform initial assessments and document patient care plans in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Initiate discharge planning for patients upon admission and throughout their stay.
  • Calculate and titrate vasoactive drugs as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Care for patients receiving mechanical ventilation, including assessment of effective ventilation and suctioning techniques.
  • Interpret cardiac arrhythmias and intervene appropriately, including alerting physicians to significant changes.
Qualifications
  • Current California RN license.
  • Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
  • NIHSS certification required within 3 months of hire.
  • CCRN certification encouraged.
  • One year of Critical Care experience preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
  • BSN preferred.
