Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and sustain intricate financial models to facilitate decision-making concerning complex business challenges, including valuation, profitability, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data, compiling statistical reports on current financial trends, policies, and significant organizational changes.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow analyses, and forecasts.
  • Assist in the formulation of the annual budget and financial planning processes.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather insights, analyze trends, and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.
  • Evaluate financial performance against key business metrics and document essential financial highlights to enable management to assess progress against strategic plans and budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial accounting procedures and policies relevant to this role.
  • Utilize advanced Excel capabilities, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other functions for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Oversee the preparation of ledger entries and reconciliations by compiling and analyzing account information.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, manufacturing accounting, or a related field, ideally within the Engineering sector.
  • Proficient in financial software and database applications.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience with VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Experience with FP&A, cash flow analysis, and ledger management.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to convey complex financial information in an understandable manner to all levels of staff.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • CPA or CMA certification is advantageous.
