Vascular Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Imaging Specialist to join our team at Williamson Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging procedures to our patients and physicians in a respectful and efficient manner.
About the Role:
This is a full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will have the chance to make a real difference in people's lives. Our ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality imaging procedures, including vascular studies, to patients and physicians
- Ensure accurate patient identification and physician orders before proceeding with studies
- Maintain radiation safety protection for all individuals, including self, and follow ALARA principles
- Strive to maintain patient dignity by ensuring proper coverage during exams and transport
- Demonstrate leadership and teamwork in challenging situations and make appropriate decisions
- Volunteer for overtime and fill in as needed to ensure hybrid room coverage is adequate for daily cases and call coverage
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology and subsequent Accreditation through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
- At least one year of work experience in hospital after graduation and accreditation; willingness to train
- General knowledge of x-ray equipment and computers; ability to learn specific equipment and processes utilized at Williamson Health
