Occupational Health Services LPN

Butterball, LLC is a leading producer of turkey products in the U.S., with a diverse array of career opportunities and paths. We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Occupational Health Services team in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area.

Job Summary

The Occupational Health Services LPN will provide onsite promotion and restoration of health, as well as the prevention and treatment of illness and injury. This role will interact positively and professionally with applicants, employees, and leaders, promoting safety and health through education, information, and example.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care and first aid in accordance with protocols and standing orders within the scope of practice for licensure.
  • Perform drug and alcohol testing per policy.
  • Assist with case management strategies for work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Participate in incident investigations as necessary.
  • Serve as liaison with medical claims adjusters, medical providers, and/or counsel for workers' compensation.
Requirements
  • Current unrestricted LPN license to practice professional nursing in the hiring state (or compact licensure state) required.
  • Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED required.
  • 1 year's experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
