Job Summary

MSA - The Safety Company is seeking a skilled Electronics Assembly and Repair Specialist to join our team at our Cranberry Township, PA manufacturing plant. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and testing printed circuit boards, as well as performing other functions to support the operations of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot, repair, rework, and test moderately complex circuit boards and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering.
  • Equipment Calibration: Perform machine or soldering iron calibration using existing test setups or procedures.
  • Assembly and Testing: Assemble and test moderately complex circuit boards and/or sub-assemblies as time permits.
  • Quality and Safety: Maintain relevant information in computer system and completes associated paperwork and transfer finished boards and sub-assemblies to appropriate work area.
Requirements
  • Education: Associates Degree in electronics or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 18 months electronics manufacturing or other related experience.
  • Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in soldering, ability to identify electronic components, read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
