Nuclear Power Plant Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Nuclear Power Group. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing mechanical systems for nuclear power plants, including preparation and review of modification packages, system performance specifications, and functional mechanical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and analyze mechanical systems for nuclear power plants
- Prepare and review modification packages, system performance specifications, and functional mechanical drawings
- Evaluate technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment
- Conduct vendor bid evaluations and negotiate contracts
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the nuclear power industry
- Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations that apply to mechanical engineering design of nuclear power plants
The salary for this role is estimated to be between $145,000 and $170,000 per year, based on national averages for similar positions.
