ROLE SUMMARY:

The Lead plays a pivotal role in executing brand standards and enhancing the teammate experience.

Under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead becomes the in-store authority for their specific department. Their focus is on delivering exceptional service to customers while providing clear direction to fellow teammates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Contributes to building a strong team by participating in in-store interviews and department tours.
  • Fosters a people-first culture by connecting with every teammate, building mutual trust and respect, and enhancing store recognition.
  • Plans and organizes tasks 30 days in advance with the Assistant Store Manager, ensuring effective strategies and alignment on workforce needs for daily assignments, projects, or events.
  • Utilizes teammates strategically to meet brand standards, execute programs, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Maintains company merchandising and presentation standards by adhering to established guidelines for floor sets, signage, pricing, inventory, and replenishment.
  • Assists the store leadership team with general supervision in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Facilitates training for teammates on company procedures, including onboarding new hires and cross-training existing staff.
  • Prioritizes coaching and development for self and others, providing hands-on guidance and explaining the rationale behind tasks and processes.
  • Leads by example to support the organization's vision, helping teammates understand how their roles contribute to common goals and an outstanding shopping experience.
  • Creates an inclusive environment where all individuals, both teammates and customers, feel welcome, safe, and respected.
  • Adheres to established safety, loss prevention, and operational procedures, maintaining confidentiality of company information.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift items weighing between 15 to 35 lbs. repetitively.
  • Capability to work extended periods (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
  • Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet using ladders or aerial devices.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short durations (up to 2 hours continuously).
