Job SummaryThe Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of campground facilities, equipment, and grounds. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and conducting preventative maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting work
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and conduct preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Inspect equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning
- Install new fixtures, equipment, and appliances as needed
- Operate swimming pool and aquatic water features safely and efficiently
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment and installation
- Basic knowledge of chemical properties, handling, and usage
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally, and 10 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and move safely over uneven terrain
The Maintenance Engineer will work in a fast-paced environment, often in varying weather conditions. The ability to work safely and efficiently in a variety of settings is essential.
