Key Responsibilities:
- Medication Management: Oversee the dispensing of prescriptions and monitor patient drug therapies, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Patient Interaction: Provide counseling to patients regarding their medications, ensuring they understand their treatment plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of interventions and provide comprehensive drug information to healthcare teams.
- Supervision: Lead and supervise support personnel within the pharmacy department.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Inpatient Pharmacist.
- Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Arizona.
Work Environment:
Employees will work varied shifts and will not be required to work alone. Weekend shifts will be necessary on a bi-weekly basis. There is no on-call requirement, and there will be no floating to other departments.
Dress Code:
Business casual attire is expected.
Training and Orientation:
Comprehensive department orientation will be provided on the first day, followed by training on MediTech, CII Safe, and clinical practices specific to the organization.
